Germany - Dresden to Berlin

Frauenkirche's baroque altar depicts a biblical scene and is richly decorated with many statues and ornaments. Almost two thousand fragments of the altar were rescued when they cleared the rubble in 1945 which meant approximately 80% of the present altar could be reconstructed using the original material.
